In 1959, a man named Herb Mueller had a simple idea: show up, work hard, treat people right, and the rest would follow. He started Quick Transfer in Winnipeg, Manitoba with three small stake trucks and three hundred dollars. No outside investors. No safety net. Just discipline, a handshake reputation, and a willingness to outwork anyone in the room.
It worked. Job by job, year by year, the company grew. Customers came back. They told their neighbours. Businesses called. What started as local household moves expanded into a full-spectrum transportation operation serving residential, commercial, freight, and relocation customers across Canada and beyond.
The trucks changed. The scope expanded. The values never did.

Ralph Mueller grew up watching his father build something from nothing. He saw firsthand what happens when you treat people right, keep your word, and never stop looking for a better way. When he became President and CEO, he did not abandon that foundation — he built on it.
Under Ralph's leadership, Quick Transfer evolved from a regional household moving company into a full-service transportation and logistics enterprise. New capabilities were added. The fleet grew. The warehouse expanded to more than 110,000 square feet. National and international partner networks were established to serve clients wherever they needed to go.
